Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Heat the Milk

  1. Pour 2 cups milk into a saucepan.
  2. Heat on medium-low, stirring occasionally.
  3. Do not let it boil.

Step 2: Reduce the Milk

  1. Let the milk gently simmer.
  2. Stir every few minutes to prevent sticking.
  3. Cook for 30–40 minutes until reduced by about half and slightly thick.

Step 3: Sweeten

  1. Add powdered sweetener.
  2. Stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.

Step 4: Add Butter

  1. Add 2 tablespoons butter.
  2. Stir until melted and smooth.
  3. Simmer 5 more minutes until creamy and glossy.

Step 5: Cool & Thicken

  1. Remove from heat.
