Simplest Recipe but So So Good! Rice Krispie Treats

Melt 90g butter and 300g marshmallows, then stir in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Mix with 4 1/4 cups Rice Krispies, press into a lined pan, and cool for an hour. Enjoy!

  • 2 Rubber spatula or wooden spoon

Ingredients
  

  • - 90g unsalted butter
  • - 300g marshmallows
  • - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • - 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • - 4 1/4 cups Rice Krispies or crispy rice cereal

Instructions
 

  • Line a pan or Tupperware with parchment paper.
  • In a large pot, melt 90g of unsalted butter over medium heat.
  • Add 300g of marshmallows and keep whisking until completely melted.
  • Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
  • Add 4 1/4 cups of Rice Krispies cereal and stir until evenly combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press gently into an even layer.
  • Let cool at room temperature for at least an hour before cutting and serving.
