Delicious Schnitzel with Asparagus and Creamy Sauce Recipe



Do you love asparagus? I recommend grabbing some while it’s in season; it’s delicious with this sauce

Schnitzel Ingredients:

  • Chicken breast
  • Flour
  • Egg
  • Salt
  • Gelatinous flour

Instructions for Schnitzel:

  1. Slice the chicken breast into thin pieces, coat with flour.
  2. Dip in beaten egg mixed with salt, then coat with gelatinous flour.
  3. Fry until golden brown.

Sides (Potatoes and Carrots):

  • Boil potatoes and carrots until tender.

Asparagus:

  • Trim the asparagus spears and boil for 10 minutes.

Sauce Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 200 ml cream
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1.5 tsp vegetable seasoning
  • Some black pepper and paprika

Instructions for Sauce:

  1. Melt butter, sauté flour.
  2. Add cream, milk, vegetable seasoning, black pepper, and paprika. Stir well.
  3. Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.

Assembly:

  • Pour the sauce over the vegetables and schnitzel.
