Best Profiterole Cake

Ingredients:

  • 12 ladyfinger biscuits
  • Milk (for soaking the ladyfingers)
  • 1 pack of profiteroles (250 grams)
  • 400 grams of sour cream (Schmand)
  • 400 ml cream
  • 4 packets of cream stabilizer
  • 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar
  • Forest fruit sauce (400 grams)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Base: Adjust a 22 cm springform pan. Soak the ladyfinger biscuits in milk and arrange them at the bottom of the pan.
  2. Prepare the Cream: Whip the cream with the cream stabilizer until it becomes firm. In a separate bowl, mix the sour cream with powdered sugar using a spatula.
  3. Assemble the Cake: Pour a portion of the cream mixture over the soaked ladyfingers. Place the profiteroles on top of the cream layer. Then, pour the remaining cream mixture over the profiteroles.
  4. Add the Topping: Finally, pour the forest fruit sauce over the top layer of cream.
  5. Chill: Refrigerate the cake for at least 4-5 hours to set.
