  • Core the apples and slice them into very thin pieces.
  • Fill half a bowl with water, add the lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons of sugar.
  • Place the apple slices in the bowl and microwave for 3 minutes, or until they are softer and easier to handle.
  • Drain the water and set the apple slices aside.
  1. Prepare the Puff Pastry:
  • Remove the puff pastry from its packaging, lay it out on the table, and cut it into 6 strips.
  1. Add Flavor:
  • Mix 1 tablespoon of honey with some cinnamon, and brush this mixture onto the pastry strips.
  1. Assemble the Pastries:
  • Place the apple slices on the pastry strips with the peel facing outwards, overlapping each slice slightly.
  • Fold the puff pastry over the apple slices and roll them up to form a rose shape.
  • Grease small molds, such as cupcake or muffin tins, and place the rolled-up pastries into the molds.
  1. Bake:
  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (about 400°F).
  • Bake the pastries for approximately 20 to 30 minutes, until golden brown.
  1. Decorate:
  • Once baked, remove from the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar mixed with cinnamon, if you like the added flavor of cinnamon.

Tip: After 25 minutes of baking, remove the pastries from the cupcake molds and place them on a baking sheet. This will help the pastry become even more crispy. Enjoy your beautiful and delicious apple flower pastries!
