These Chipotle Shrimp Tacos are a delight to make and share, perfect for any gathering or a fun meal!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb of Black Tiger Shrimp (16-20 pieces), preferably from LobsterAnywhere
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tsp each of cumin, salt, paprika, smoked paprika, and chipotle powder
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- Tortillas of your choice
Mango Salsa:
- 1 ripe mango
- 1 Fresno chile
- 1/4 red onion
- 1 tbs cilantro
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1/4 tsp salt
Avocado Crema:
- 1 ripe avocado
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbs cilantro
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup sour cream
Method:
- Rinse and pat dry the shrimp, removing tails and butterflying them if necessary.
- Mix shrimp with olive oil, spices, salt, and crushed garlic. Let it marinate while you prepare the salsa and crema.
- For the Mango Salsa, chop mango, Fresno chile, red onion, and cilantro. Mix with lime juice and salt.
- For the Avocado Crema, blend avocado, garlic, cilantro, cumin, lime juice, and salt in a food processor. Mix with sour cream (avoid blending sour cream separately to prevent it from becoming watery).
- Sear shrimp in a skillet for 1-2 minutes per side until cooked.
- Char tortillas, assemble tacos with shrimp, mango salsa, and avocado crema. Enjoy your delicious creation!
