Non-Stale Yeast-Free Triangle Pastries

This recipe for non-stale yeast-free triangle pastries offers a delightful and quick alternative to traditional pastries. Ingredients

  • 150 grams of butter or margarine
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • ½ cup of oil
  • 2 eggs (reserve 1 yolk for brushing)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 4 cups of flour (add gradually)

  • White cheese

For Topping:

  • Egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon of milk
  • Sesame seeds

Cup measurement: 250 ml

Preparation

  1. In a mixing bowl, add all the liquid ingredients except for the baking powder and flour, and mix well.
  2. Add 3 cups of flour and the baking powder, and start kneading the dough.
  3. Gradually add the remaining flour to obtain a soft, non-sticky dough. The dough should be as soft as an earlobe.
  4. Take mandarin-sized pieces from the dough and roll them into balls.
  5. On a floured surface, flatten each ball with your hand to the size of a tea plate. Place some of the filling in the center and fold into a triangle shape.
  6. Starting from the edge, fold to form a triangle as shown in the picture. Then, take the lower corner upwards to close and shape into a triangle.
  7. Repeat this process for all the dough balls. Place the shaped pastries on a baking tray with the joined side down.
  8. Brush the tops with egg yolk, make small cuts with a fork, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
