Caramelized Cabbage with Dijon Drizzle

Caramelized Cabbage Delight with Savory Dijon Drizzle is a delightful dish that combines the sweetness of caramelized cabbage with the savory flavors of Dijon mustard. It’s a perfect side dish for any meal and is sure to impress your family and friends.

To make this dish, start by preheating your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Then, cut half a medium green cabbage into four equal wedges and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Use a pastry brush to coat the cut sides of each wedge with garlic-infused olive oil (or regular olive oil) and season with salt and pepper. Flip the wedges and repeat the oil and seasoning.

Roast the cabbage in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, then flip the wedges and continue roasting until nicely browned, about 8-10 minutes more.

While the cabbage is roasting, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, combine butter, minced fresh onion, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook over medium heat until the butter is melted. Keep the sauce warm until serving.

To serve, whisk the sauce again (it may separate), drizzle it over the roasted cabbage wedges, and garnish with chopped chives or parsley if desired. This dish is not only delicious but also healthy, making it a great addition to your dinner table
