Blackened Steak Shrimp Alfredo Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb steak
  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

  1. Start by cooking the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak and shrimp with Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let it rest. In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  5. Slice the steak into strips and add it back to the skillet along with the shrimp. Toss to coat the meat and seafood in the alfredo sauce. Add the cooked fettuccine pasta and mix well to combine.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
