  • 125g Salted Butter
  • 120g Caster Sugar
  • 60g Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg (Room Temperature)
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 200g Plain Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • Kinder Chocolate and Chocolate Chips

Method:

  1. Prepare Brown Butter:
  • Melt butter in a saucepan over low/medium heat until golden brown/amber in color. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes.
  1. Mix Wet Ingredients:
  • In a bowl, whisk cooled brown butter, brown sugar, and caster sugar until combined.
  • Add egg and vanilla extract, whisk until combined.
  1. Incorporate Dry Ingredients:
  • Fold in flour and baking soda.
  1. Add Chocolates:
  • Fold in Kinder chocolate and chocolate chips.
  1. Chill Dough:
  • Chill cookie dough for 1-2 hours.
  1. Preheat Oven:
  • Preheat oven to 160°C.
  1. Form Cookies:
  • Take 1-2 heaped tbsp of cookie dough, wrap it around a piece of Kinder chocolate, and roll into a ball.
  1. Bake:
  • Bake at 160°C for 14-17 minutes, adjusting for desired gooeyness.
  1. Add Toppings:
  • Press additional Kinder chocolate into the top of each cookie after baking.
