This Choco Bueno Cake is a delicious and indulgent treat that combines rich chocolate flavors with a creamy Bueno mousse. Perfect for any special occasion or just to satisfy your sweet tooth, this cake is sure to impress!
Ingredients:
For the Cake:
- 5 eggs
- 200g sugar
- 330g flour
- 50g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 16g baking powder
- 300g whole cream
For the Bueno Mousse:
- 280g mascarpone
- 227g heavy cream
- 60g powdered sugar
- 80g melted milk chocolate
- 4 tablespoons Bianca spread
For the Chocolate Glaze:
- 160g milk chocolate
- 125g warm heavy cream
- 30g butter
Instructions:
1. Preparing the Cake:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Whisk the eggs and sugar until the mixture is pale and has tripled in volume.
- Fold in the sifted flour, cocoa, and baking powder.
- In a cold bowl, whip the cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it into the batter.
- Pour the batter into a 25 cm diameter pan lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes. Let it cool completely.
2. Making the Bueno Mousse:
- Whip the mascarpone, cream, and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Add the cooled melted chocolate and Bianca spread, and mix until smooth.
3. Assembling the Cake:
- Slice the cake horizontally. Optionally, brush with milk.
- Spread the Bueno mousse on the bottom layer. Place the second layer on top.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
4. Preparing the Chocolate Glaze:
- Pour the warm cream over the chocolate and stir until smooth. Add the butter.
- Let the glaze cool, then cover the cake with it.
- Trim the edges and decorate with chocolate chips and Kinder Bueno pieces.
